descrição: johnny cash foi um cantor norte-americano muito bem sucedido. a sua carreira durou muitos anos e é considerado a personificação da música country. nasceu em kingsland, a 26 de fevereiro de 1932, mas pouco tempo depois, a sua família mudou-se para dyess. a sua canção 'folsom prision blues' entrou para o top 5 da música country  e 'walk the line' esteve no 1º lugar. em 1957, johnny cash tornou-se no primeiro artista da sun records a completar um álbum e também foi o cantor mais lucrativo dessa gravadora. johnny cash faleceu a 12 de setembro de 2003, vítima de diabetes aos 71 anos. antes desse acontecimento, gravou a canção 'hurt', que foi um cover dos nine inch nails.
