descrição: motörhead foi uma banda de rock e metal inglesa fundada em londres pelo vocalista e baixista lemmy kilmister. este começou a trabalhar com a música ainda nos anos 60, como roadie (aquele que se encarrega de substituir os instrumentos quando já não estão bons ou de preparar o palco para uma banda num concerto) na banda the jimi hendrix experience. também trabalhou na banda hawkwind e quando saiu de lá, decidiu montar o seu próprio projecto musical, inicialmente chamado de 'bastards' que mais tarde mudou para motörhead. devido à sua sonoridade pesada e rápida para aquela época, contribuíram para a influência de várias vertentes do metal, incluindo o thrash metal. a canção 'ace of spades' é das mais famosas do grupo e é considerada um clássico do heavy metal.
